This week we are pleased to welcome four students from the University of Guelph presenting for us on Friday, March 6th, 2026, as part of the course ANSC*6210: Principles of Selection in Animal Breeding. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST in ANNU 141 and on the virtual platform of Microsoft Teams. The titles of their presentations are:
The Karrow lab is pleased to present a special guest seminar by Dr. Tomonori Nochi from Tohoku University. From 10am-11am, Dr. Nochi present "Identification of a novel B cell subset orchestrating gut–liver homeostasis in chickens". This will be followed by a 2nd seminar titled "Current status and future perspectives of faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) for calf diarrhoea".
