Mark Ferguson guest seminar on Challenges & Tools in NZ Sheep Sector

Dr. Mark Ferguson will be on Campus in meetings facilitated by Ontario Sheep Farmers (OSF) in advance of their AGM on the 25th and Industry Convention on the 26th in Cambridge.  Between meetings on Campus and the research stations, he will be making himself available to the U of G community for this seminar. Abstract Deadline for Third Annual OMAFRA ABSc Graduate Student Symposium

Are you doing some cool Animal Biosciences research? Come share your hard work and enthusiasm at the THIRD ANNUAL OMAFRA ABSc GRADUATE STUDENT SYMPOSIUM! There will be opportunities for oral podium presentations or poster presentations. There will be prizes for oral and poster presentations, and opportunities to network with OMAFRA staff, UofG faculty, and your fellow graduate students. 

CGIL Seminar – Investigating the Genetic Basis of Feed Efficiency, Sustainability, and Resilience on Spanish Dairy Sheep through Omics Integration

Good morning CGIL,   This week we are happy to have Dr. Pablo Fonseca a post-doctoral fellow at Universidad de Leon presenting for us on Friday, October 4th, 2024. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The presentation title is: “Investigating the Genetic Basis of Feed Efficiency, Sustainability, and Resilience on Spanish Dairy Sheep through Omics Integration”.

2024 Golden Boot Soccer Cup and Annual ABSc BBQ

On behalf of the ABSc Social Committee, we hope you all had a wonderful summer! It is time to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year and welcome the new graduate students in our department. On Friday, September 27th, we will host the Annual Golden Boot Soccer Cup and Annual ABSc BBQ. The event was a great success last years and we are counting on you to make it great again!
