Good afternoon CGIL, This week we are happy to have Dr. Nora Laseca García and Dr. Davinia Perdomo-González, researchers at the MERAGEM research group, presenting for us on Friday, March 1st, 2024. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The presentation title is: “Population structure and inbreeding from the quantitative and genomic perspective: the case of the Pura Raza Española horse”.

The ABSc Graduate Student Council will be hosting a TOWNHALL MEETING on March 1st, 2024 from 1:00 PM-2:30 PM. This event will occur in person, in ANNU 141, and virtually, via Teams. 

The CCSAW student chapter is hosting a grad student panel on Thursday, February 29th for students interested in pursuing grad studies in animal behaviour and welfare. The event will take place from 6:00-7:30pm in ANNU 102. Please share the attached poster with your classes or with anyone who may like to attend!
