ABSc Prof. receives funding for genomics research

ABSc. Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Livestock Genomics Christine Baes [1] has been awarded funding from The Ontario Regional Priorities Partnership Program (ON-RP3) from Ontario Genomics in partnership with Semex Alliance. Prof. Baes received $499,899 to explore the use of genomics to breed livestock that can better cope with changing climates, especially extremes in temperature and humidity.
