Dr. Trevor DeVries has been appointed as one of two new Research Program Directors (RPDs) for the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance, a collaboration between the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the University of Guelph. Dr. Alfons Weersink, a Professor in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics will also join the RPD team.
Dr. Tina Widowski, ABSc faculty member and core member of the Campbell Centre for the Study of Animal Welfare (CCSAW), was recently named one of seven Influential Women in Canadian Agriculture (IWCA)!

PhD candidate George Hall has been named the winner of the Alltech Student Research Manuscript Award.
