I completed my bachelors degree in 2025 in Animal Biology at the Univrsity of Guelph. I am currently a Master of Science student in the Animal Biosciences Department, completing my degree through the coursework-based program. My research interests focus on the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and corticosteroids during the peripartum period in dairy cows. I am particularly focused on how treatment type, dosage and route of administration influence outcomes related to behaviour, health and welfare, milk production, reproductive performance and culling. My current research also explores how treatment efficacy may vary with timing of administration and underlying physiological factors such as parity and metabolic health.
I have hands-on research experience as a research assistant at the Elora Dairy Research Station, where I supports data collection through biological sample collection, laboratory sample processing and dairy cow welfare assessments. My responsibilities include venipuncture, assisting with disease diagnosis, and evaluating injury status, hygiene and body condition to support herd health monitoring, management decisions, and reliable data collection for research on dairy cow health.
I aim to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and practice mixed-animal veterinary medicine with interests in both small and large animal care.
